Hi Guys,
Happy Sunday. I hope you were able to join church online or in body if churches are open in your state. As promised yesterday, I told you I would be featuring another member of the family as they share their July experience with us.
Bukky is a very big support system for this blog and she is a very dear friend of mine as well. We have been guys for quite a while now and studied Petroleum Engineering together in Covenant University.
I present to you....
Oladejo Bukola @bhukkie__
Bukola is an engineer and Entrepreneur. She owns a jewelry brand where she is passionate about ensuring she provides you with the best beads in jewelry form. The brand is about a year old and has many client reviews to speak of its work.
What did you read in July?
I started reading a book for the second time: Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren
What were you watching?
I'm not much of a TV person actually 🥴. So, I bonded with the family by watching funny soap operas, comedy skits, etc and also watched a couple of movies on my laptop.
What were you changing in your life?
I did not try to make any out of this world change. I just wanted to be better than I was the previous day.
What were you loving ?
I spent more time on Instagram as I run an online business there, hence I had to be present as much as I could be . But YouTube came in handy as I learnt a lot from Tutorials and learnt a lot of other things.
What were you working on ?
I was primarily engaged in trying to develop myself, my mind, my thoughts, every aspect of me in general (Spiritually, Mentally, Academically, Financially, Emotionally, Business-wise etc). I can't say yes I achieved a lot, but I'm glad I'm making progress even if it looks like 0.00001% (🤣 yes I mean it 0.00001 percent).
What were you learning?
Learning for me in July was majorly from my Business @kkies_store. I make beaded accessories (Bracelets, Neck pieces, Waist beads and Anklets). Constantly, I communicate with different personalities, different customers, exercising patience and trying to understand them takes a lot, getting the exact accessories they want in the exact description, lol.. it's a lot JAK.
Logistics on the other hand too was another challenge plus distance. So, coping regardless of everything was quite the learning curve.
Who were you admiring?
No one in particular. I tried to channel my energy to talking and encouraging myself more.
What did you wish for (did it come to pass)?
I will rather keep it a secret and Uhrrmmm... Nope it did not come to pass.
What did you crave a lot( did you get it or not)?
I really wanted to just go out, leisure centers, chill, see the movies, have pizza too 🙈🙈 and maybe Cold Stone 🙈. My dear, I didn't leave my house ooo 😭😭😭
What did you appreciate a lot?
I think I was just glad seeing people around me make progress and keep growing.
What irritated you?
Arrgghhhh... This table..
Not getting things done as at when I wanted and also getting sick 😭 ..stress was too much my dear
Who inspired you?
I can't say categorically this person or that person. I'm just really keen on personal development and trying to be open to learning.
What are you planning for August?
Working on completing the uncompleted tasks of July and yunno, keep pushing 😉
What did you regret?
Nothing I guess, just trying to fix my mind on "probably, it was meant to happen that way".
What are you unsure of right now ?
Honestly, I'm so blank at this question🥴
What were you listening to a lot?
Messages/Sermons on my PC and Music on my phone. I like to jam up sometimes🙈
My favorite part of interviewing Chipzz as I like to call her was the energy. She has the most amazing way of making you feel at home with her. She is a friend I hope to do life with and one I am immensely proud of.
I hope you learnt one thing or the other from this post. I will be sharing the month of July in nutshell for me. It is a very important post because something big happened to me.
What did you like best about this post and Would you like to be featured in a post like this one at the end of the month. Comment your favorite part of this post and one lesson you learnt in July.
Till my next post,
All my love,
JAK.
