By JAK - May 03, 2020

Good morning guys,

It's Sunday again (Not sure if this is the beginning of a new week or not. There's been a lot of debate on the topic as some believe the week begins on Monday. What do you think? What day is the first day of the week?) and another opportunity to get things right ultimately.

One major thing that keeps me going is inspiration and so I would like to share with you some Male Nigerian instagram accounts that keep me inspired when it comes to male fashion. It is important for me to follow male fashion because I enjoy androgynous style of fashion and as such it is necessary for me to stay inspired by the best in the game.

Without wasting time I present 10 accounts I believe would be worthy inspiration for you if you are interested in male fashion.

Denola Adepetun @denolagrey

Denola Grey as he is popularly called is without doubt one of the fashion authorities at the moment in Nigeria. With his out of the box fashion ideas and androgynous take to certain outfits. He stands as my number one inspiration. He is also a freelance fashion consultant, writer and an on-air multimedia personality.

 Chukwuemeka Obi-Uchendu @ebuka

He is popularly referred to as Ebuka. From wowing everyone with his Big Brother Naija fits to simply making a statement at like every event he is seen at especially his eccentric agbada at Banky W's wedding. Ebuka is another fashion authority. He makes every outfit look effortless while giving a vibe that screams SUAVE. He is also a lawyer and Media Personality.

Timini Egbuson @_timini

I first got introduced to this lovely gentleman in Skinny girl in transit, a popular Nigerian series. His boyish charm and youthful exuberance makes his style very noteworthy to me. He is an award winning actor and graduate of psychology.

Akin Faminu @akinfaminu

He says he would call his style DAPPER. He is a fashion blogger and Medical Doctor. He has a style that is very relatable and you can see yourself in regardless of what your personal style preference is. He says his passion is the art and as such that plays a big role in the merge of patterns and colors.

Steven Onoja @stevenonoja

Stephen was the first male blogger who made me madly in love with ankara printed outfits for men. Then, I knew him particularly for his love of hats. He is currently a visual storyteller and writer. As a director, he also works very closely with Nigerian musician Adekunle Gold to sharpen brand identity, develop creative concepts, and enhance the visual experience.

Olupekan Tijesunimi @tijesu.o

Tijesu is a Lifestyle Blogger and Entrepreneur. He is also a Chartered Accountant and graduate of Babcock University. He has a very different approach to fashion as he mixes elegance and charm in a masculine way. He is an upcoming icon and one to watch.

Kuyet Bamai@kuyetbamai

First thing I love is how tall he is. I mean I am all about the NBA guys, Kuyet is one of the those male bloggers whose style is very minimalist but attractive all the same. If you like your style quite on the toned down side, you should definitely follow him. You won't just learn about fashion but you will learn about photography too. He is a Mass Communication graduate from Ahmadu Bello University.

Gabriel Akinosho @gabrielakinosho

Gabriel redefines dapper men style. He makes wearing a suit look a different kind of cool. He owns a brand called Albert Clothing. If you want something a little different from what you generally know then you should definietly check out this one.
